Visa-free transit policy for citizens of PRC and India in Kazakhstan has been extended until December 31, 2020. The transit waiver allows air passengers crossing through the Almaty, Aktau, Karagandy, Nur-Sultan, Taraz, and Shymkent international airports by any airlines to transit and stay for up to 72 hours (3 days) without a visa.

Foreign investors and experts in Nur-Sultan can now obtain driver license and vehicle registration services at the AIFC Expat Centre

The Expat Centre is a «single window» for the AIFC foreign and other labour to get first access to Kazakhstan and to provide with Government services to them­­­­ for establishing favourable social and educational conditions.

Foreigners entering Kazakhstan must obtain a visa from one of the Kazakh diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries.
